Fightin' n' stuff

If you ever wanted to play a fighting game where you control your own moves and not just trigger animations... well great news for you!
Some time ago one friend showed me a great game called Toribash, where you take control of all of your character's body to perform various moves. How is that possible? I asked that question too. Every X milliseconds game pauses and let's you and your opponent adjust the body joints (you don't see what opponent sets.) After time runs out or both players have marked themselves as ready, game resumes for X milliseconds again and so on until the match timer runs out or someone wins. It's much easier to grasp the concept once you have played it.
The game itself gets kinda brutal when you learn how to play. You can decapitate limbs and such with powerful kicks and grabs. But to win fights you have to play it for some time, because at first you may not even understand what's going on.
Also, I have 10 tips to get you started:
  1. If you want people to respect you, never ever clap. Clapping is when you set both of your arms to grab and contract both pecs, so it looks like the character is clapping.
  2. Don't use mouse clicks to change state of joints, use keyboard, this will save you time.
  3. Don't be afraid to relax joints. Relaxing usually makes your moves smooth and pro-like.
  4. If contracting and extending makes your desired body part to move too far, relaxing (again) usually puts body parts just in the right position.
  5. Change state of most joints each pause. If you change only one or two joints, you are likely to lose, because opponent sets his moves according to ghosts and by changing much you render his ghosts almost useless.
  6. Try to stay on the ground. Once you leave the ground and opponent grabs you, you become his bitch.
  7. Invent your own moves. By using predefined moves most players know, you are most likely to be countered easily since most new players use it and more advanced players know counter moves to it.
  8. When you're standing firmly on the ground and your opponent is grabbed in the air, release him to make him fly out of the ring (if you're playing a mode with boundaries.) If he hasn't grabbed you, he will have no way to win the battle, because he will not have any control over you.
  9. Never rage quit, not only in Toribash, but in any other game as well. I've seen, oh, so many players who spam chat with how good they are and when defeat seems obvious the just leave. Not only this makes you look bad, but it also makes people think you're 12.
  10. The quickest way to make money is to fight in Tourneys. Search for servers with description "500 TC Tourney Starts Now." It can also be 750 TC and even more. Once you're on the server type /enter in the chat.
Have fun and I hope to see you in game

Phishing? Good luck!

So, I made my introduction, now it's time for some posting! And I have just the right topic for it.
Not long ago I received an email from "PayPal". Why is it written between commas? Because it was not from who it said it was. Mean people tried to phish my shit! Now how did I understand it was fake? Look below.

Here I am checking my email and, whoop, out of nowhere email from "PayPal":
Oh, how cool, I received 51 cent (that's 50 Cent + 1,) from mister Joe. I should "claim my money now," but... who the f@#$ is Joe? Something's not right here... Claim money? Since when PayPal has that button? Button not working? Why shouldn't it if it's a multimillion dollar site? Transaction ID? My email instead of my full name? Yeah... something's messed up. Since I received money from a legitimate site just few days ago I checked that email for comparison... heh, spot 10 differences:
It would have ended like that, if curiosity didn't get the last of me... I went tracing. So, I opened both emails in text only format to check for differences:

One is phishing, other is legit. How smart... not really, I now have the IP (but it's probably just a zombie computer, but I checked anyway.)
Opening good ol' command prompt and using tracert:

Compare phishing to the legit. Clear difference! alter.net is Verizon. Well... this ended here. I just reported that email to PayPal and Verizon... hope they'll catch that asswipe!

And lastly I wish You to stay safe and don't fall for scams! If you have any doubt, check twice before clicking anything or providing any info.

Hello world - first post

Ahoy, readers, fellow bloggers and people who ended up here randomly!
Let me introduce myself at first - I'm Richie (not really, but that's how I am called.) I do lots of different things in my life, well, mainly computer stuff. I collect old things, such as helmets, army uniforms and photo cameras, also vinyl records. But enough about me, let's talk blogging!
So, why did I create this blog? Well, I was thinking about it a long time ago and now that I see I cannot contain my thoughts no longer, I decided to share.
What am I going to write here? Everything that's on the tip of my... I would say tongue, but... fingers, I suppose. So yeah, I'm going to write here about everything! Something happens that I have an opinion about - I'll just post it here. Be warned, though, I may insult some of you, but respect my freedom of speech, like I respect yours (although I must admit, I do not respect immature assholes, this is not a news portal, let's be nice :) )
With this said, I welcome you aboard and hope you'll enjoy your stay!
